As chairperson I would first like to take the time to thank my faculty. The undergraduate enrollment has risen slightly in comparison with the numbers from last year.
The North Carolina A&T State University Theta Nu Chapter of Eta Kappa Nu, the electrical engineering honor society, is very active within the Department. The chapter sponsors a number of activities throughout the year, including tutorial sessions, engineering basketball games, and mentoring junior and senior high school students. Members of Eta Kappa Nu are excellent students, each holding an above average GPA.

The IEEE promotes the development of electrotechnology and allied sciences, the application of those technologies for the benefit of humanity, the advancement of the profession, and the well being of its members. The IEEE is a not-for-profit association and has more than 330,000 individual members in 150 countries.
