What is IMIS?
The project involves faculty and students from the Departments of Computer Science and Electrical Engineering and it has the goal of developing a research and educational infrastructure in information technology within the two departments. Research activities include Wireless Communications, Network Security and Algorithms, Distributed Systems, Signal and Image Processing, Automatic Speech Recognition, Evaluation of Various Speech Sensors, Artificial Intelligence, and Pattern Recognition.
