1. Admission

In order to pursue the degree of Master of Science in Computer Science, one must first be admitted to the Graduate School.
The first step toward Graduate School admission is to complete the required application forms and submit them to the Graduate School Office.
In addition to the application forms, two official copies of the student's undergraduate and/or graduate transcript are required.
The Computer Science department does not require the GRE, but we will consider the information if provided. Satisfying the requirements described does not guarantee admission.

2. Program
Options |

The Master Science in Computer Science program consists of three options:
(a) Thesis Option
(b) Project Option
(c) Course Only Option.
The Thesis Option requires a minimum of 24 hours of coursework and 6 credit hours of COMP797 Master Thesis.
The Project Option requires a minimum of 30 hours of coursework and COMP796 Masters Project.
The Course Only option requires 33 hours of coursework.
At least 12 credit hours for the thesis option and 15 credit hours for the project and course only options must be at or above the 700 level.
